I am so so tired today. I nearly fall asleep in both of my classes. But of course, I did not. Just that I yawned for so many times in the class. Hoho~ Hooo~
I know I should go back and take a nap. Rest.
However, while I was waiting for the bus, I suddenly feel the urge to eat mcD. Thus, instead of taking bronze loop and zoomed back home to sleep, I took Silver loop and headed to mcD. Haha...

Guess who I saw in mcD?
In order to protect the privacy of my friend, let's call him A. =P
So I sat down next to him after ordered my food. We talked about our class and of course, his Japanese class!
A is very passionate about learning Japanese language. He went to Japan last summer (correct me if I am wrong). He loves Japanese culture so much. He even thinking of moving to Japan after graduating from Purdue!! Now that's really something cool!
It makes me wonder, what is the thing that I am passionate about. Where is my passion? What is the things that I really want to do? I am so used to Malaysia that I don't think I will ever move to other country. Well, haha, still too early to say that ya?
And he told me I am the first one to comment in his blog! We continued in talking about the "danger" in writing blog. Since you will never know who your readers are, you have to be very very careful when you write something. Need to think the consequences of anything you write. And take that responsibility.
I totally agree with that! XD
After he left for his class, a hand tapped on my shoulder and made me turn (in the wrong direction at first) to see another friend, B, smiling at my stupidity.
He is someone from the chinese church I went. The very first thing he asked me is why he hasn't seen me in the church for so long? What happened?
So, I told him the truth that I am going to another church right now.
I don't like the misunderstanding from other people thinking I am skipping church due to busy-ness or worse, laziness.
We chatted a little while about the movie "The Lovely Bones" and a book I am currently reading "My Sister's Keeper" before he had to leave to join his friends. Anyway, I am glad that I met him today. Have not seen him for quite some time too and I miss the days we "hanged out" to walmart (life here is seriously THAT boring). Haha....
After satisfied myself with the fast food, I walked to the bus stop to wait for bus.
There, I met another friend, C.
He is a Malaysian but I have not seen him for a long long time. We talked about winter break, pumsa, and the coming mid-west game.
And so I asked if he is volunteering in the game, to my surprise, he answered: "No"
But what surprised me more is his reason for it:
"If you want to volunteer, volunteer in something more useful. I don't really think that this is important or something worth to get involved in. Unless you really love your country and patriotic"
He went on "sharing" his opinion that we have to mix with more American and international students instead of sticking with the Malaysians.
At some point, I agree with him. It's true that we should make the fullest use of our opportunities here to know people from other countries. I mean, I love to meet new people because each has their own story which always fascinates me the most. However, it is important to stay in touch with your fellow Malaysian friends too.
As for the patriotic part, I am really sad to hear what he said.
I admit that I am negligent of what's going on in the country and not that I will call myself patriotic, but instead of talking all the bad stuff about your country and figuring out all the ways you can to emigrate to other country, we should play our parts as good Malaysians and do our best as citizens to improve the situation.
It's true that there are many things happening in our country now which are saddening and disappointing. But when we want to complain about it, always remember that it is where we come from. It's our home!
Oh my! Have I just become more patriotic after coming to the States?
Now, is that a good or bad thing? ;P
