Guess I am going to share this quick one with you....
Jeremiah 33:3
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know".
I have been really dry (as in spiritually) recently.
I feel that God is so distant. I feel like He could not listen to me anymore (or I could not listen to Him).
I don't know how did that happen.
I am scared. And feel so insecure.
I will go to the prayer room at Wesley Foundation. Trying to search Him. Talking to Him. And try hard to listen to what He has to say to me.
But I didn't feel anything.
I was kinda disappointed.
I was so filled with the spirit before that.
Crazy thing kept happening around me.
But for the past few days, I just felt very empty.
I was trying to look for an answer from Him.
But it has not been answered.
Just now, I got to hang out with my girl friend and we were talking about God. Even though I did not really told her what happened, but what she said just kept hitting on me. I feel like God was using her to reconfirm and trying to rejuvenate my faith in Him.
And on our way back, we saw a truck with this verse, Jeremiah 33:3 on it.
I did not pay much attention at first.
I had no idea it's what people call "the God's number". Seriously, I did not know at all.
But the verse did not leave me after I came back home.
So, I decided to take out my bible and try to look for that verse.
And WHOAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did God just answered another prayer???

thats crazy how God can use a bumper sticker on a truck to minister to you...
Amy, we don't have to 'feel' God all the time to know He is there for u..coz it is a fact that He is with us all the time..all we need are faith and trust in Him..sometimes, we might feel like God is not listening, or God is not answering our prayers, but that doesn't mean He doesn't love us or anything. He loves us unconditionally because the Bible said so.
so, my point is..just read Bible daily and pray to Him all the time. Be assured that He is there :)

Paul: I know right?! Isn't He just so awesome? Crazy stuff. Lol. He can use anything He likes. Even a rock. Or a lake. Or a stranger. Anything or anyone at anytime at anywhere. ;)
Hui Theng: Yes!! I am really learning to put my faith in Him all the time.
girl, i totally knew. God wants you to know that you are securely anchored right now.. you may feel far from God, but your emotions are deceiving you. you need the dry seasons in order to appreciate the wet seasons appropriately.
song of solomon 8:5 "Who is this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved?"
you're going to come out of this season with a greater intimacy with Christ. He is faithful. He just brought me out of the worst season I've had since He drew me.
on another note, i've never heard anyone but Dawn call it God's phone number.. but i think it's a cool representation :)
