Be careful for what you pray for

because this prayer thing really works!!!!

I did a test on my motivational gifts as part of the homework for dicipleship. And below is my result:

Mercy - 13
Exhorter -11
Servant - 10
Giving -9
Administrator - 6
Prophet - 4
Teacher - 4

I think the results is pretty accurate. Because really, I don't like to teach. I just don't like it.

We shared our results with each other in dicipleship. The girls are surprised that I scored so low in teaching.

"We need to pray for you! God will train you how to teach!"

Today, the lab coordinator in my department came to talk to me and asked if I will be interested in becoming a TA. In case you don't get it, becoming a TA means you have to teach.

Usually, people have to apply to become a TA and it is not easy to get chosen. I am really surprised that the lab coordinator will come to ask me instead of me going to him. (Erm... Not that I ever considered of becoming a TA)

I don't know if this comes from the Lord.

I don't like teaching. I don't have a desire to teach.
Nevertheless, I will still pray and see what He has for me.

So, the "moral" of the story is: this prayer thing does work ;)

Clarification: I did not accept the offer. But he said I can always talk to him if I ever change my mind.
