Of love and loneliness

Too many times.....
I see people fall in love
Just because of loneliness

Wasn't it the same for me too?

Hey,

Thanks for liking this blog =)

It's just that i have seen so many friends saying they like someone just because they like to talk to them. And some more it's not in person but through internet. And they will feel extremely lonely after that person offline. I just don't know how to tell them that they would feel that way just because they are lonely, not because they really like that person.

I don't know Amanda in person, but I do read her blog. haha...

Hi AmyLoPectin, (nice name, btw)

Just happened to be at your blog (=

When in INTEC, my friends in psy class did a survey, and found out that many people get into a relationship back then out of loneliness.

Humans are social animals: we yearn for someone to care about us. But many a time, we grow to be too attached to the person. When the person leaves, we hurt. etc.

The best way to fall in love is not to have attachment. Enjoy each other's presence, cherish every moment, but not desperately shutting everyone else out.

Do fall in love with Jesus. I've been reading so much about this revolutionary man. He's awesome, I tell you.

Oh, and if you can, read "the Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Clairborne

Love you,
