Evansville spring break

I have a lot to say about this trip... WAY LOTS... But I am only going to share my favorite part in this post. Ask me in person if you want to know more.

God has been so good to us.

Since the message on Friday Ignite meeting, God's presence stayed with us all week long.

Saturday morning
Before we headed to Evansville, we had a corporate morning at the usual place at the usual time. I went. That morning. And I sensed God's presence. It was so strong. So strong that it filled me with so much joy!

God has been giving us visions and words about spiritual rain for this spring break trip to USI. People are going to be impacted! Souls are going to be saved radically!

That morning.
As we prayed, I sensed a strong presence of God. The room quiet down and everyone was enjoying His presence. It was so neat because no one broke the silence. And everyone could sense it! It's not only me!!

When we were at Evansville, we stayed at Pastor Bev's house.

We did a lot evangelism and planted many seeds on the campus. I think everyone in the campus now would have known about us. Haha... I did survey at the heaven table, holding signs, handing out fliers and reading the bible out loud for the first time. The surveys made me nervous at first. But I felt more confident in doing so after the first try.

On another note, we were helping 'HOLY SMOKERS' to hand out free hotdogs on Wednesday. The hotdogs ran out so fast! Hungry college students. LOL

I had so many first times during the trip. First time playing golf, first time doing evangelism, first time preparing breakfast for my brothers and sisters (maybe that's not really something significant. Hah!)

====================================================

Oh!
How could I not mention about what happened on the most important night of the week?
Chi Alpha meeting on Thursday!

Kiera was radically being saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit right after that! Oh God! He is so real! Because we were praying the whole week that someone, the chosen one, the one who has been hungry and thirsty for God, would be radically changed! And it happened!

And the story behind it.... Oh! It's so amazing!

One day during the week (I forgot which day), as Kevin was walking back to his car, weary and tired from the evangelism work whole day, saw Kiera. As he saw her, he got a feeling that God wanted him to approach Kiera to hand her a flier of the meeting. At first, Kevin was reluctant to do so because he was already so worn out. But anyway, obeying God, he approached Kiera, handing her a flier.

Kiera told him politely that she already had the flier but it was 7"AM" and she thinks that was too early for her to go. Obviously, that is a mistake. Kevin laughed and told her that it's 7PM! Not 7am. If it were 7am, we would not be there also. LOL.

And so she came. At 7pm! The right time, the right place, that God want her to be at.

Had Kevin not approached and corrected her regarding the time of the meeting, she would not have attended the meeting. And she would not have heard the message that God want her to listen. And she would not have received the precious gift that God has for her.

After that, she told us her friends had been praying for her and she really dislikes it. But in the end, prayer answered. And she got radically saved! And filled!!!!

========================================================

Ohhhh........ I should tell you about how she got filled! Haha... Its GOD!!!

When pastor Linda asked if anyone would like to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, several girls came down to the altar and Kiera was one of them.

At first, we were planning to have Purdue people to pray for it. Girls with girls, boys with boys. But we ended up not having enough girls to pray over for the people. So Hannah (from USI and just got baptized in the Holy Spirit a month ago at Father Heart of God retreat) was called by Pastor Linda to pray for Kiera.

Hannah was put under so much pressure to pray for Kiera. Because she had not done it before. And to pray for a girl who just got saved? Wow. I would be stressed too.

So Hannah prayed to God to help her. Telling her what to do. And she heard God telling her "Don't worry. She will be filled fast."

And it did!

As soon as Pastor Linda said "be filled with the Holy Spirit", even before Hannah placed her hand on Kiera and started praying for her, Kiera was speaking in tongues already!!!! Wow! Tears broke out and praises shouted out to the Lord!

Haha... It was really fast! God, you are just so amazing!

And then, there's a guy A (name would not be mentioned to keep the privacy of the person).

As we were doing our evangelism throughout the week,we ran into him for 7 times! (God has His number there)

Yuriy got the chance to talk to him. And the conversation opened up for them. A was closing his heart at first but gradually, he started to open up his heart and shared with Yuriy what happened to him.

And it was shocking!

A confessed that he wanted to commit suicide three weeks ago but failed and stayed coma for a day. He used to trade drugs and consumed them as well. He is a pentecostal but has no friends to fellowship with. Not even a non-Christian friend. His life was so messed up and had a lot of issues with the police. He did not want to live anymore.

God! But he lived!!! And he met us!!!!

Oh God!
And he met us 7 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (reminder: God's number)

Can you not agree with me that it's God's plan for him? To save a lost soul like him?

Ohhhh...........
I love my God so so so so much.
He is so good!
