It is so true!!! Why act desperate when you are actually not?

A friend of mine said that she is going to celebrate her Valentine with her bf this Saturday. When she asked what I will be doing, I told her I have no bf.

"Why don't find one here???"
She was so shocked! As if everyone should have a bf/gf.

.....................

I politely shake my head and tell her "Not my time yet...."
In my heart, I whispered: God will have His plan for me =)
and yay! I believe that!!!

After so many things that happened, I have changed my perspective on a lot of things, including love.

There are too many people who fall for love not because they truly found the right guy/girl. They are just too lonely. They just want to find a playmate, not a soul mate.

I was like that too.........

So even though he was not the best guy for me;
although there were many things that we don't agree on;
We were still together.
For 3 years!!!

My reason was very simple: because he could make me happy....

When separated,
When it's the time I need him the most but he was not here,
When I was sad and he could not make me happy,
I became disappointed.

I was looking for happiness from him. (not from God)

And when he could not give me that,
I started to doubt our relationship, and he doubted too.
We ended up hurting each other.

Everything that happened, I believe it's God's plan.
And I don't actually feel sad about that anymore.

In fact, I am happy now.
Happy to being single! Happy to be free! Happy to be able to live for God wholeheartedly!
and waiting patiently for the right guy He will be sending me.... =)

I learned my lesson.
A person can only find true happiness and the purest joy when one is with God.
And guess what? I found it! =D
