Halloween in Wisconsin

From Purdue to Wisconsin =P

I went to UW Madison last weekend for Halloween.
I was damn excited when Juliana asked if I wana join them going there. I went way way hyperactive and started thinking what to do despite of the 4 exams awaiting me.
Well, who cares the exams anymore? Hahaha....
(despite of my laziness in studying, I got good grades. Thanks God!)

I wanted to give the Wisconsin people a surprise, so I did not contact the others except two fellla. But, anyhow, the plan spoiled at the last minute.....

Oh Wait! Maybe not!
Because I managed to make 3 people screamed like mad! hahaha....
So, I would say, plan A succeed! Well, maybe only half... =P

I reached there on Friday night, 10pm Wisconsin time. The gang just came back from shopping but Kia Tzun and Hui Chin are nice enough to bring me out again to State Street just to let me know how's the night life there on a Friday night.

It was awesome!!!!! These people really have life! Compared to Purdue? Sigh.....

The second day, we went out hunting for our halloween costume for the night.
In the end, we did not buy anything because we decided we will just make up to make ourselves look scary. We reached to a conclusion that even if we dressed up, we were gonna to cover ourselves with thick jacket (because it was damn freaking cold outside), so what's the point? Right? Agree? =P

Oh ya! I met Li Xuan and Yi Sin the second day also for lunch. We went to a restaurant called Nick's. It mainly serves sandwishes and burgers. The food there is very nice and the price is quite reasonable too. Try go there if you are visiting Wisconsin. =)

And.... that night, we make up! For the FREAK FEST 2009!!!

Here are some of the cool pictures we took that night. We basically just grabbed some random people on the street and took photos with them.

There was a dude who came up to me and asked "are you shui ying?" and gave me a huge bear hug after I told him I am not!!! People were just so crazy and drunk. I don't mind though. Well, it was meant to be that crazy, wasn't it? Lol.

It was fun! Freaking fun that made me don't even want to go back if not because of the cold weather. I was shivering. And my toes went numb. And I became so expressionless in the end and could not talk because of the cold that hit me.
I planned to meet up with the other gang of my friends there initially but had to cancel the plan in the end because we couldn't even text each other and contact!!!
The moment we took our gloves out of the hands to text, our fingers just got numb and could not feel anything anymore. I am serious!!!

So, the second night was the climax of the trip but wait! Another day awaiting me in Wisconsin.... Which is the third day, Sunday!

I woke up early on Sunday morning to go to church with Liau Hui Theng (just like to mention her full name. hiak hiak... ) and her friends. The name of the church is Harvest Church of Madison. Erm, something like that.
It is still a young church, formed only a year ago by a Korean pastor.
All in all, I enjoyed being in the church. I felt welcomed and warm and somehow just felt the belonging even though that was my first time visiting. Feel happy for Hui Theng that she has found the suitable church for her. =)

And guess what?! I just realized that I did not take any picture with her!!!
Well, definitely going to take a lot of pictures with that girl during the Chicago trip this coming thanksgiving. Hiakz!

The rest of the day, I just spent with the Wisconsin people in their apartment and also touring the campus.
The campus was very beautiful. With lake and all.

Thank you people for the warm welcome and the tours and laughter you bring to me. It's been a long time since I feel so happy like this. I love you! =D
