We Won?? We WON!!!!!!

OMG! It's CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

I am in charge of the registration for the competitions during LA Week. Thus, I have been going around to find people to join the competition. Essay writing, Spelling, Choral Speaking, Poetry Recitation, Story Telling and Public Speaking.

The guys in my class were so semangat and they actually wana to join most of the competitions.

On Monday (or Tuesday?), CJ told me that ah mok was thinking to join the choral speaking competition. However, they afraid that there will be insufficient time for the preparation. After MUCH consideration, they finally decided to give it a try and hence, I joined the guys.

First and foremost, we have to prepare the script. Since the theme for the choral speaking was national integration, we decided to gather the lecturers' view on national integration and then insert their quotes into the script to create a sense of....... familiarity? Hmm.......
The guys actually manage to come out with the script in just one night. Credit to the guys. You guys are so efficient and creative!

Done with the script. Next, we have to start gather people for the competition. This is not a big problem though because we have a girls magnet among the seniors. I think there is no need for me to mention "he who shall not be name" since it is very obvious already, right? Hiakz!

We praticed on Wednesday night, which is just one day before the competition. And luckily, we still managed to practise for a few times on Thursday afternoon. And then, off we go, in front of the judges and audiences, performing our choral speaking.

And guess what? We got the second place in the competition!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha......... It's CRAZY, isn't it? We just practiced for... 3 hours? HEN PRO LEH!
